Power Pulley Sets. 

RDSport has developed a Power Pulley Set that reduces the drag on specific pulleys while allowing others to remain at their same efficiency.  This allows for perfect operation in daily driven vehicles without a hiccup or stutter.  

Completely machined from 6061-T6 heat treated aluminium, our pulleys are specially coated with a MIL-A-8625 Type III anodize finish.  This kind of anodizing is not to be confused with a Type II cosmetic anodize finish (typical colors such as red, black, blue, silver, green, etc.).  The anodize finish actually builds a small surface layer on top of the aluminum, preventing wear.  

RDSport Power Pulleys benefit all types of BMW models, not just manual transmission cars.  BMWs including those equipped with Steptronic or All Wheel Drive can also benefit from the freed power of the pulleys.  

RS Flywheel.

The RS Flywheel is engineered to improve the performance of your 6 Series by reducing both the weight and Moment of Inertia (MOI) of the OEM flywheel.  By eliminating high percentages of this parasitic weight and controlling it’s location, the engine is “freed-up” allowing it to “rev” much quicker, delivering more of the available power to the drive wheels which increases the acceleration rate, thus enhancing overall performance.
 
The RS Flywheel is features a hardened steel friction surface, is supplied zero balanced, and is packaged with a hardened bolt-ring kit containing all premium installation hardware. Hardware kit materials must be used for proper installation.

The RS Flywheel is normally serviceable and can be re-built, providing it is not subjected to abnormal wear, abuse, or otherwise damaged during use.

Sport Clutch Assembly.

As any sport driver knows, having massive amounts of torque is great for acceleration, but it creates all sorts of strains on the original clutch.

The Sport Clutch Assembly will fit any 6 cylinder motor. It features an upgraded pressure plate with a diaphragm spring that has 30% more clamping force than the stock unit, yet it is still comfortable in every day use.

RS Sport Shifter Kit.

Reduce the throw of the original BMW 6-speed transmission and achieve blindingly fast gear shifts. The RDSport Short Shifter is machined out of aluminum and stainless steel. It reduces the throw 37% and is optimized for maximum feel and a smooth glide between gears.

Differential Oil Cooler Kit.

The performance of the R Motors can put a strain on many of the driveline components.  Derived directly from the unit we supply with the V12-powered Typhoon, the RDSport Differential Oil Cooler Kit keeps the temperature at a constant level, thus prolonging the life of your LSD unit.

A must if you are installing the AI-LSD, the kit requires the installation of the Typhoon rear apron.

Final Drive ratios.

Improve the acceleration and match the gearing of your 5 Series to your driving conditions by installing a different set of final drive ratios. Many options available, please consult your local RDSport Performance Center.
