The Lowering Kit. 

The RDSport Lowering Kit comes in 2 different ride-heights, one optimized for 20" wheels and 1 optimized for 21" wheels.  Both deliver superlative handling as they were developed over more than 500 miles of testing on many tracks and road conditions.

If you demand the absolute best and you understand the added value of having a sport spring that was actually tested on the car (and not developed on a computer), ask your local RDSport retailer to install a set, and you may discover that it is really worth spending a little more to get a lot more.

The Chassis Kit. 

The RDSport Chassis Kit for the 6 Series continues our tradition of superlative performance with uncompromised comfort.

The RDSport Chassis Kit was developed over a period of four months and miles and miles of driving on the road and on many of Europe's top race tracks.

Unlike standard suspension that can be purchased off the shelf, the RDSport Chassis Kit is designed specifically to work together with the RS 2 Forged wheels and the RS Brake System, and was developed as a component of a complete performance solution for your 6 Series.

Whether you drive your 6 on the street, or like to take it out on the track, the RDSport Chassis Kit delivers the best handling, highest cornering speeds, and a firm but comfortable ride that is both reassuring and performing.

The RS Brake System.

The new RS Brake System is the most effective performance option for your 6 Series. 

The 6 piston calipers were chosen because they deliver the best stopping power and are not clunky and heavy like some of the 8 piston systems offered by our competitors.  The slotted and vented 380/32mm (15") rotors deliver incredible performance whether used on the track or on the street.

The piston sizes are optimized for the weight and suspension geometry of the 6 Series, and offer true race-car performance to your 6 Series.

The RS 2 Forged (RS2-F).

The RS2 Forged is the most classic and recognizable Racing Dynamics wheel design and it represents the latest iteration of a line of wheels that started back in 1986 with the first HSM wheel.

The center flange is machined out of a heat-treated 6061-T6 forging.  Each one goes through 6 different machining operations totaling no less than 8 hours on our CNC equipment.  The result is a stunning sculpture of incredible strength and lightness, with design details that are unique to this product and cannot be found on any other forged wheel in the market today.

The RS2-F comes in 19"and 20", and features a 3,5" lip at the front and a 4" lip in the rear.  The wheel is designed to fit around Racing Dynamics' newest RS Brake System, which features a 6-pot option for the front, and a 4-pot option at the rear.

The combination of the 20" RS2-Fs with Pirelli P-Zero Nero tires, the RS Brake System, and the Chassis Kit have been engineered to work in unison, and deliver unsurpassed handling by shaving 7 Kg. in un-sprung weight per corner, albeit being a full 2 inch larger than the OE tyre size.

This combination has a striking visual appearance that rivals that of a Moto GP front axle.  It is undoubtedly, both to the expert as well as the novice observer, a concentrate of technology that spells total performance.

The RS2-F is compatible with the BMW alignment machine that is found at most BMW Centres.

The RC 6 Spun-Forged Monobloc

The 21" RC 6 is the latest addition to the family of Racing Dynamics spun-forged wheels.

The RC 6 comes as a matched set, 9,0 for the front axle, and 10,5 for the rear, which gives your 6 series the perfect balance.

The RC 6 features a fully polished face with a ceramic-based clear coat which eases the removal of brake pad dust.

 

The RC 8 Spun-Forged Monobloc

The 21" RC 8 is the lightest and most aggressive looking monobloc wheel in the RDSport range. The 9,0 x 21" front weighs only 24 lbs, a fraction of the equivalent size offerings from our German counterparts.

The RC 8 comes in with a silver painted center, polished lip, and a ceramic clear coat that inhibits brake dust from attacking the surface of the wheel. The RC 8 (like all RDSport wheels) has specific applications for the 6 series, and therefore does not require any spacers. In fact, we have 6 different part numbers on the 9,0 x 21 with barely 2-3mm difference in their offsets, but each one is optimized for its specific application. At RDSport we do not like compromising, and neither should you.

The RD 2.

Reintroduced in 2006 with a new Hypersilver finish, the RD2 is the quintessential RDSport wheel.  Its timeless design derives from the early Racing Dynamics HSM wheels, of which the RD 2 is the 21st century reincarnation.  Its totally rounded surfaces, the absence of any unnecessary frill, and it purposeful appearance, make it one of the most recognizable designs for your BMW 6 series.

Currently the RD 2 is available in 19", as a replacement for the OE size wheels.
