The awesome 4,6 liter, 524HP, RS46 Motor.
It turns your M3 into a true world-class sports car.

There are few upgrades that perform as well and as reliably as our RS46 motor conversion for the M3.

We start with a billet crank that is a true work-of-art. We then mate it to 8 H-beam forged con-rods that could easily withstand 15,000 RPM. Our forged pistons use a proprietary low-elongation alloy that allows us to run less than 2/100mm clearance, thus greatly reducing piston slap while maximizing performance.

Each head is then machined and fitted with larger exhaust valves.

Our equal-length stainless steel Tri-Y race headers are built entirely by hand, and boost the torque of the S65 motor. They are then mated to a pair of high-efficiency metal matrix catalytic converters, an x-pipe with resonators, and two distinct exhaust silencers with the traditional RDSport oval tips.

The RS 46 started as a carryover of our RS 56 motor we designed for the M5 motor.

Although similar, the S65 and S85 motors are, in fact, quite different, and we set out to maximize the capacity of the new V8 by stretching the bore and stroke beyond what we had done in the V10.

To accomplish this we asked our suppliers to push the envelope even further, reducing the weight and dimensions of critycal components by adopting materials and technologies that are only used in F1 engines.
