  K21 Motor

The K21 is part of the Racing Dynamics family of K Motors that delivers an astounding 148 HP that transforms the 316i into a sporty Sedan with few rivals.

Based on the 1.6 liter version of the M40 BMW motors, the K21 sports a forged crank that increases the stroke to 91mm, a rebored block with 86mm bore and Alusil coating, new cast pistons, and a Sport Camshaft.
The internal modifications are matched to a new EMS (Engine Management Software) program and a sport rear muffler with the traditional Racing Dynamics twin oval tips.

All motors are built by Racing Dynamics due to the extensive machining of the block, the Alusil coating process and to assure quality standards. A discount is also given for the exchange motor, depending on the mileage.

  K16 Power System

The K16 is a bolt-on modification for the 1.6 liter version of the M40 BMW motor.

The K16 Power System includes a Sport Camshaft , a new EMS (Engine Management Software) program and a sport rear muffler with the traditional Racing Dynamics twin oval tip.

The K16 delivers 108 HP of crisp performance that rivals many of today's sports cars. It preserves the traditional spirited high rpm capabilities and increases the low-end torque of the original 316i powerplant.
